JASON BEDELL
HUMBLED WORKER
Jason Bedell, born on the North Pole of Mars, was entitled to a merely a fraction of hard work. Now that entitlement was extended to a lifetime of hard work. His involvement with Nanotrasen started off as a part-time job to pay off education debt. He was a blue-collared worker, a laborer, tasked to do things nobody else would bother with. The job was financially stable and he did well. It was through this performance he was offered to join a very special program for his hard work. To be a volunteer within Nanotrasen's very pristine research department, within it's genetic division. Big NT had a plan to create a "super-solder" of sorts that can handle the harsh environments of the exoplanets in Spinward. There was a huge financial incentive offered if things went well, and possible promotion to a more senior rank. Bedell, side blinded, took the offer.
FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN
A massive situation occured later into the project that had Nanotrasen in a tough spot. The Cloning Incident of 2560 hit Prosperity and started a massive domino chain that was about to fall right on the head of the research divisions. The plans involved not only genetic modifications, but also some degrees of cloning tech. Under the threat of SOLGOV, Nanotrasen sent down the orders to stop use of all cloning devices entirely before legal action follows. Bedell was forcefully removed from the project, and had to undergo surgery to repair his wounds from it. The ears, horns, and other mysterious fragments of the aftermath had to be removed. The entire lower body and his tail had to stay.
"WHO CHOSE THIS GUY?"
Bedell's procedure did not go well. He was forced into signing multiple contracts and a NDA that prolonged his stay as a laborer under the threat of reclassification. Forced to stay in Spinward for his life, he was sent to the only place where outcasts go.

Species: Bio-modified Human
For Nanotrasen, establishing people who can adapt to exoplanets has been a priority. Major ethical concerns are hand-waved, and most people are sent across Spinward. Volunteers (or vat-grown humans) are usally promised money in return for medical trials and fancy modifications. The result is sub-par, and their contract is extended to the point where it's impossible to get shore-leave or vacations. All while signing a NDA.
Diet Preferences: Raw Meat, Gore
Employee is modified to prefer raw meat and gore. Organs, especially from non-sapient species, are preferred. Employee should be monitored when authorized to butcher creatures.
Employee Behavior: High-energy, Prideful, Problematic
Employee is high energy and reacts to some situations with more reaction than others. This behavioral change might be contributed to genetic operations, however this has not been confirmed. They are additionally heavily prideful in their work. Their over-reaction to some situations may be troublesome to the workplace. Once agitated, Employee tends to physically respond with violence.
