Should keep some space reserved up here for important notes.
Content warnings for depression and suicide.
As I write in text files, I'll give each document a subheading with a bunch of spaces to make sure you know it's a new one (there are only two currently: Mothella - ID, and Mothella - Job Interview.) I'm nowhere near done writing and this is a VERY long term project as I'm doing more than just writing a lore summary.
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have, and if you spot any typos or anything please tell me. Or you can just comment on it for fun!

[Interviewer: Head of Personnel of vessel REDACTED]
“Please state your name for the record. Your species is self-evident.”
“Mothella.”
[Name: Mothella]
[Species: Mothman]
“So, I observe your situation to be... moderately unique. You are asking to receive an ID, but not
because you lost it, but instead never had one. This is correct?”
“Yes… I-I didn't arrive at t-this station by choice…”
“What do you mean by that?”
“M-My… parents left me here. I didn't get any sort of identification, I just… uh… am here?”
“Right. How long have you been here?”
“...I'm… unsure. As far as I can remember, but I h-haven't kept track of time. I apologize…”
“So I assume you don't know your age. You look young, I’d wager a guess of around seventeen,
taking into account the evident lack of growth. Any comment, or can I put that as your age?”
“No… I think that's f-fine.”
“Next up, job. You've already had a job interview, which we should have rejected, but we have
received explicit orders from the higher ups regarding you. Have you already seen the contract?
I have it here, not having read it myself.
“...I've already accepted it. I-I kn-know what it includes… I just need this ID.”
“Yes, that is why we're here. Alright. Let me just enter it here… and…”
[Occupation: Bartender.]
“There. Someone of your age really shouldn't be working in any bar. Alas, special orders
override my opinions. Just, please, don't drink anything. Don't even think about it. You will lose
your job if caught doing so even once.”
“I understand.”
“Alright, that concludes this part of the interview. Next up, we have the physical and mental
examinations. These won't be any issue. They are required for all jobs but only really matter for
certain ones. There are extremely loose requirements for being a bartender. I'll hand you over to
the CMO for the next part.”
“Thank you…”

from required examinations also attached.]

[Message from: CMO of vessel REDACTED to REDACTED.]
This is unusual. I am supposed to have Mothella here undergo the usual tests, but I have
received your orders to forgo these and instead simply pass her. I am worried by this, as upon
inspecting her, she clearly looks substandard, both mentally and physically. And that's
underselling it. She'd no doubt fail these tests. I say this to ask: are you certain this is proper?
[Response redacted]
[Message from: CMO]
Fine. I'm not in support of this, but fine. This is indubitably going to backfire for the moth, victim
even, but I don't have the authority to do anything about this. May I at least leave a note on her
medical records?
[Response redacted]
[Message from: CMO]
So that's how it is. Alright. Have it your way, don't say you haven't been warned.

Mothella - Job Interview
[The following application has been transcribed for the applicant due to her lacking the ability to read or write, with a large amount of nervous breaks and stuttering cut out for your own sanity. She speaks in a whisper, apparently unable to talk any louder. Very difficult to hear, and clearly suffers from a number of mental problems, including depression, social anxiety... while also having to have a good number of words and phrases clarified.]
[Name]
Mothella. No, no last name...
[Species]
Mothperson.
[Occupation]
Bartender...
[NT ID] - had to help her with this one.
M0143114
[Reason for Transfer/employment]
...I need a job. After my mother died, I haven't had any way of sustaining myself, slowly starving out, simply eating anything I can possibly find. Not to mention the curse... [quite a long pause here] I mean... No curse! I... am safe and not a danger to myself and others... Anyway, if I don't get a job I would... give up, probably for the final tine. I would... rather not, though, even if it is a bit selfish... Oh... sorry... I chose bartending because it's what she did, before.. and it is what I am best at.
[Accolades and achievements]
I assisted mother with a huge order once, when she was still... [Once more, I encourage her to continue.] Thirty bottles of various drinks, for an event the captain was holding with his team. I don't... know what they did with them, but my mother got some kind of medal...? I made nearly half of them, so it isn't... taking her honour...
[Known affiliations]
...I don't... have any. Except against the syndicate. They... [She mumbled quietly, I could work out the word 'mother,' but when asked to repeat she refused.]
[A stranger approaches you in the bar, offering a selection of illegal contraband for you to sell. How would you react?]
...I would refuse, and ask them to leave. If... they don't, I would keep asking until they get annoyed, and leave. I wouldn't do anything to have any risk of losing my job. If I do... I... [She seemed to be holding herself back from tears. When asked what she said, she refused to repeat it. I'm losing my patience.]
[Your friend has been injured on the job site. You are in the waiting with them in the lobby. How do you keep them calm?]
[Long pause, before she speaks quickly and in a panicked manner.] ...friend? I don't have those. I can't have those. Not after that. Never again. I will never even risk doing that to someone again. [I assure her of the hypotheticality of the scenario. Annoying.] I... [She seemingly has no clue how to answer.] ..talk...? Try... keep them... occupied. [I imagine we deem this answer unsatisfactory? I'm at my limit. You have no idea how long it takes to get anything out of this moth.]
